Mission:- To protect and preserve permanently the redwood forests, watersheds and important natural areas
of the Santa Cruz Mountains, and to encourage public appreciation and enjoyment of this environment.
Vision: - A permanently-protected and forested natural area, continuous from Half Moon Bay to Monterey Bay,
covering the coastal mountains of San Mateo, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties.
We seek to achieve this purpose in several ways:
- by acquiring suitable land in a working partnership with
the State of California and other public and private agencies
- by completing Big Basin Redwoods and Castle Rock state
parks
- by fostering public participation in activities such as
reforestation and trail projects
- by linking parks and open spaces to
provide an integrated parkland system
Sempervirens Fund is a nonprofit
public charity meeting the requirements of IRS 501(c)(3)
and the Public Benefit Corporation Law of the Sate of
